The terms and conditions that govern your use of BrewAtlas.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using BrewAtlas, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continuing to use BrewAtlas after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create a BrewAtlas account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Using BrewAtlas
BrewAtlas grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our recipes, brewing guides, AI Coach, and related features for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt its operation, scraping content without permission, or using it in any way that violates applicable law.
User-Generated Content
When you submit recipes, reviews, notes, or other content to BrewAtlas, you retain ownership of that content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of the service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and you agree it will not infringe on the rights of others or violate any applicable law.
Premium Membership & Billing
Certain features of BrewAtlas are available only to Premium members. Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation details are presented at the time of purchase and may be updated from time to time; material changes will be communicated in advance.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of BrewAtlas, including our logo, design, and original recipe curation, are owned by BrewAtlas or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written consent.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
BrewAtlas is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Brewing recommendations, including those generated by the AI Coach, are offered for informational purposes and results may vary based on your equipment, ingredients, and technique. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrewAtlas will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to BrewAtlas if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users or to the service. You may stop using BrewAtlas and delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.
Governing Law & Changes to These Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BrewAtlas operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date below, and material changes will be communicated to registered users.
